It’s interesting when you think about the opportunities that have come your way and you have blown. The many, many opportunities that have come your way and you have blown. How do I know you’ve blown so many opportunities. I know because you are a male and all males everywhere have blown dozens of opportunities, make that hundreds and hundreds of opportunities, no make it thousands. Go back go way back, go all the way back to high school, no go back even further then that. Remember that beautiful girl in your class you were in love with and you were looking at her and she turned and caught you looking and she smiled at you real big but all you did was look down at the floor embarrassed about getting caught, even if she did smile at you very approvingly. Yes going way back we are talking thousands of blown opportunities. The art of picking up women is just converting a percentage of those opportunities into closes instead of blowns.

Going back to what I was saying, it’s interesting to when you think of all the many opportunities you have completely blown. Why is interesting? Think about it. An opportunity comes at you out of the clear blue sky and it takes literally a few short seconds and you blow it just like you did in the classroom when beautiful Becky smiled at you and you looked down at the floor. Just like that in a few short seconds the opportunity presented itself and then disappeared and is gone for ever. And there you are kicking yourself once again. And rightfully so because think about it another way. What if instead of blowing it you actually handled it because you have also done that as well and felt pretty darn good about it too.

By handling it I mean you at least got a phone number out of it and you called her and made a date. You handled it. Now the date went well and turned into a little relationship, she became a girlfriend and maybe even went on to get married and live happily ever after. All because you handled what could have been a fleeting opportunity. So what’s the point?

The point is when opportunity presents itself don’t blow it, those few seconds could literally be a complete turning point in your entire life going all the way back to when beautiful Becky smiled at you. Who knows you might even be with Becky today.

In other words when opportunity knocks at your front door many times it only knocks for a few seconds and then leaves… forever. If you open the door immediately and let it in it could effect your life for a very long time.

Those few fleeting seconds could effect the rest of your entire life or they could be gone for ever in a few seconds. Think of opportunity as a hinge that your your whole life can pivot on. Or not. Think of it as a hinge. A hinge that will be there for only a couple of seconds so you have to grab it fast or let it go.

So what’s the secret to not blowing it. One of the secrets it to write the above paragraph in your own words and put it up on the wall and read it every single morning before you leave home. Just know that opportunity can come at any time out of the clear blue sky and it might only be a few seconds but a few seconds that could literally change the rest of your life. Just knowing that fact and committing it to memory and repeating it daily will keep you ready to grab it when it does happen.

You could very easily say this is obvious stuff and yes you would be right. And the truth is you already know this stuff. But do you really? Yes sort of on a gut level, or an instinctive level, or a vague subconscious level. The only difference now is we have just put it on a very clear and fully aware conscious level and that will make all the difference it the world. It will actually put you in control the next time opportunity knocks. You will know very clearly the magnitude of what you are dealing with when this fleeting opportunity comes by and you will no longer “accidentally” blow it again.

Truthfully that’s really all there is to the art of picking up women. Lots of women. Men, all men are presented with an abundance of opportunity and they let 90 to 99 percent of it pass by for what ever reason. And you know exactly what I’m talking about, because you’ve been there yourself at least a zillion times. All you need to do is increase the close rate on these opportunities by just a couple of percent and you will be in total abundance. And now you can do it.
